Intensive Outpatient Program for Substance Abuse
Program Purpose:
The purpose of our Intensive Outpatient Program is to provide an undemanding level of care that gives clients a flexible alternative to residential or day treatment.
Program services and how they are provided:
Clients will receive an individualized assessment, multidisciplinary treatment based on the 12-step philosophy , referrals for community services, and ongoing support specifically designed for those clients who do not require 24-hour care. Depending on their individual needs, clients can receive treatment at our facilities up to 10 hours of counseling a week, while engaging in their normal everyday life at home. The hours of Counseling per week will depend on the assessment of the individual by a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor. The individuals attending this program will be given the following services:

Program description of the population to be served:
This program is for adult and adolescent males and females all ages and cultural backgrounds with chemical dependency issues and crisis in the Harris, Galveston, Liberty, and Chambers Counties.
Program goals and objectives:
The goals and objectives of the outpatient treatment provide a forum for clients to discuss issues and receive support while coping with their day-to-day work, school, and life stressors. Addiction specialists will help clients resolve interpersonal conflicts, stress, anxiety, and other emotional concerns that relate to chemical dependency. Group therapy sessions may focus on strategies for maintaining sobriety, an avoiding relapse, and developing a supportive environment for recovery. Our outpatient treatment facilities also offer education and support for families helping their loved one through the recovery process. This program uses proven clinical treatment methods to help make positive life changes and with the appropriate treatment, clients will better understand how their disorder has affected their personal and professional lives and how to manage their addiction in the future.
